BRC Blue Coat Run & Beer Festival
The event combines a USATF certified 5K road race and a local craft beer festival along the Riverfront Promenade in Burlington, NJ. The certified course (NJ17002LMB) is a flat, scenic 3.1 mile loop through historic Burlington with unobstructed views of the Delaware River. The field is strictly capped at 350 participants.
Logistics include free parking off High Street and convenient access via the NJ Transit River LINE, which drops off near the start area. Early packet pickup is available at 352 High Street on September 17, and race day packet pickup and registration take place at the Riverfront Promenade.
Awards include cash prizes for overall top finishers and age group awards for both male and female divisions. Overall cash prizes are $75 for first, $50 for second, and $25 for third. Age group awards are given to the top three in standard age categories from 14 and under through 70 and over. Team competition includes a prize for the largest registered group and scoring for competitive teams with a minimum of three members.
The Raccoon Pour Tour beer festival brings together three local locations—Swedesboro Brewing Company, Raccoon Taproom, and Raccoon Pubhaus—with 15 featured beers, a Giggle Juice cocktail tent, live music, a DJ, and a food truck. A tasting package is offered for $30 and $25 for Mug Club Members and includes unlimited 3 oz samples; full pours and individual purchases are also available.
