Event Overview
The Brave Run is a community athletic event held in Banks, Oregon. The course begins and ends at the Banks High School track. From the starting point, participants move down the main street of Banks to reach the Banks-Vernonia State Trail. The routes for both the running and walking divisions continue along this trail until the designated halfway points, after which participants return to the high school track to finish.
Participation Options
The event offers several distances and categories for athletes of different ages and interests:

- Virtual Race
Registration is tiered with specific pricing for adults and students. A virtual option is available for those who cannot attend the physical event in person.
Awards and Recognition
Every finisher receives a medal. Official timing determines the winners of various awards, including ribbons for the top three finishers in several age groups ranging from 10 and under to 70 and older. Special awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers and the top male and female finishers in the Masters category for those aged 40 and over. Award winners in the overall and Masters categories are not eligible for additional age group ribbons.
Purpose
