BR Walk/Run
The 5th annual Brookfield Residential Walk/Run takes place in the community of Rockland Park, Calgary. Located at 90 Rowley Way Northwest, this event offers three distinct routes for participants of various ages and abilities:
- 1 km fun run
- 5 km walk or run
- 10 km run
Registration is open to several age groups. The event features specific categories for children (ages 5-17), adults (ages 18-59), and seniors (ages 60 and older). Children under the age of 5 can participate for free.
The event serves as a fundraiser for the Calgary Food Bank. The organizers have set a fundraising goal of CA$150,000.00 to support hunger relief efforts, encourage community awareness, and collect food donations. Participants can expect entertainment and treats following the completion of their respective routes.
