Entries open 1 July 2025 and close 1 January 2026. The event minimum age is 18. Entry fees are listed as affiliated and unaffiliated rates, with higher fees applying from 1 November 2025. The event raises money for Morecambe Bay Foodbank and other local charities. The entry list showed 76 participants at the time of posting.
Course, safety and services
The course is unmarked and mixed underfoot: vehicle tracks, flowing trails, singletrack, some road sections and boggy climbs are included. GPX files are available for the main route and a bad weather / Eco route; a map and a route description are provided at registration and analogue navigation is recommended because cold weather can reduce device battery life. Four on-course aid stations will provide warm drinks, soups and sandwiches, with a pasta meal at CP3. The event includes GPS tracking, safety teams on the hill, a finisher’s meal and finisher’s memento, and bag drop at race headquarters only. Participants are asked to prepare for winter conditions including rain, ice, snow, wind and frost. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
