Bourne To Run

Bourne To Run is a 3.5 mile loop event that starts and finishes at the Hoxie School in Sagamore Beach, Massachusetts. The course follows paved public roads, a designated campground road and the Cape Cod Canal bike path. The event address is 30 Williston Road, Sagamore Beach MA 02562.

The route leaves the Hoxie School onto Williston Road, continues onto Scusset Beach Road, then enters the paved internal loop of Scusset Beach Campground. Runners transition from the campground via a footpath onto the Cape Cod Canal bike path, proceed toward the Sagamore Bridge, then use the footpath connector back to Williston Road to return to the school. Volunteers will be positioned at intersections and runners are asked to stay to the right shoulder where indicated.

All proceeds support the transformation of the historic Hoxie School into a beach house respite for immunocompromised children and their families and the repurposing of a local landmark to serve children facing pediatric cancer and other life threatening illnesses.
