Distances:
- Standard Tri: Swim 900m, Bike 55km (2 laps), Run 10km (2 laps)
- Sprint Tri: Swim 450m, Bike 27km (1 lap), Run 5km (1 lap)
- Aquabike: Swim 900m, Bike 55km
The bike leg is draft-legal and will follow British Triathlon rules for draft-legal racing. For age-group draft-legal competition, clip-ons and tri-bars are not allowed. Standard road, mountain and hybrid bikes are permitted. Lights are recommended but optional. Wetsuits are optional; the water is expected to be about 15 C. Swim caps and race numbers are provided at registration; race belts are permitted.
Entry, eligibility and logistics
Entries open 29 April 2025 and close 6 May 2026. Entry fees listed for each category include Standard Tri £65, Sprint Tri £55, Relay (2-3 people) £90 per team, and Aquabike £50. Minimum age is 16 and maximum age is 99, relative to the event date. Registration and parking are located at Allostock Village Hall (WA16 9LQ), about half a mile from the race venue; no parking is permitted on the nearby main roads.
