Event details
Boundary Park Tri & Aquabike takes place on 10 May 2026 at Boundary Water Park, Cheshire (CW4 8HT). The event offers solo competitors and teams of two to three in the following formats: Standard Tri, Sprint Tri, Standard Tri Relay (2-3 people) and Aquabike. Minimum age is 16, maximum age 99. Entries open 29 April 2025 and close 6 May 2026. Current entry count shown is 7. Entry fees: Standard Tri £65, Sprint Tri £55, Relay £90 per team, Aquabike £50. Swim caps and race numbers are provided at registration; race belts are permitted. Competitors can expect event durations of about 2.5-4.5 hours.
Distances, course and rules
- Swim - Standard 900 m, Sprint 450 m
- Bike - Standard 55 km (2 laps), Sprint 27 km (1 lap)
- Run - Standard 10 km (2 laps), Sprint 5 km (1 lap)
- Aquabike - Swim 900 m, Bike 55 km
The bike course is draft-legal and will reference British Triathlon rules for draft-legal racing. For age-group draft-legal competition, clip-on handlebars and tri-bars are not allowed. Wetsuits are optional; water temperature is expected to be about 15C. Standard road, mountain and hybrid bikes are permitted. Front and rear lights are recommended but optional. Registration and parking are based at Allostock Village Hall, about half a mile from the venue; no parking is allowed on nearby main roads. XCover refund option is available.
