On 28 February 2027, a 5 km indoor running event takes place at West Edmonton Mall, Entrance #24 (8882 170 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5T 4J2). Distances offered include:
- 5 km run
- 5 km walk
- 2.5 km option
Ticket prices range from $32.00 to $42.00. Group discounts apply: 10% for 5–9 tickets and 15% for 10 or more. A platform fee of $2.95 plus 3% of the transaction is charged in addition to GST and QST. Prices may increase during the 90 days before the event and last-minute registrations carry a minimum additional fee of $10. Online registrations close about one week before the event and a limited number of on-site registrations may be available.
Timing is provided by Sportstats; results are published by age group and starts are organized in waves by estimated finish time (red, yellow, blue, green). Cut-offs and recommended split times apply at checkpoints along the course.
Event rules and services include no strollers, headphones discouraged for safety, mechanical escalators prohibited, and no skipping of steps on stairs. A locker room is provided but items must be placed in a bag labeled with the bib number. Public toilets are available along the course. Water is provided at the finish only, placed in race bags. All finishers receive a standard medal; a personalized medal is available only during online registration and is picked up with the bib. A finisher item is included and varies by season.
