Botanic Gardens Trail - Auckland 2026
The Botanic Gardens Trail takes place at Auckland Botanic Gardens and Totara Regional Park on 26 September 2026. Courses start within the gardens, pass through cultivated garden areas, then move into the native bush of Totara Park. The mid and long courses go further into the regional park and pockets of old-growth native bush before rejoining the short course in the Nikau forest.
Track surfaces are given as 55% well-formed gravel track, 25% paved footpath, and 20% grass. Elevation gain varies by course: the short course gains 53 m, the mid course 141 m, and the long course 227 m.

Registration includes a NZ$3 platform service fee. Price categories include adult, child (5–12 years), family passes, and free entry for under 5. Standard adult prices listed are NZ$49 for the 5 km, NZ$62 for the 10.8 km, and NZ$72 for the 14.5 km. The event is presented with sponsorship and lists Camp Quality as the official charity.
