Botanic Gardens Trail, Auckland
The event takes place at the Central Lawn, Auckland Botanic Gardens (access via Hill Road) and offers three course options through landscaped gardens, parkland and native bush.

Track surface and elevation: the course is approximately 55% well formed gravel, 25% paved footpath and 20% grass. Elevation gain is around 53 m for the short course, 141 m for the mid course and 227 m for the long course. Routes start in the gardens and extend into Totara Regional Park and Puhinui Forest for the longer options, with a mix of climbs, descents and forested sections beneath the canopy.
Event logistics and signage: participants receive a coloured wristband at check in : yellow for short, blue for mid and pink for long : and should follow green arrows on course, using boarder-coloured arrows at junctions that match wristband colour. Red tree tags appear along the route as additional markers. There are pitstops on course supplying snacks and water, including items such as Tasti bars, Jaffa’s, Comvita honey sachets, Haribo and electrolyte drinks; pitstops all provide water and reusable cups are recommended.
Parking: limited parking is available at the Botanic Gardens with additional street parking nearby. First aid is located in the event village and marshals monitor the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
