Bosco Fowler Memorial 5K Road Race
The event is the 4th Annual Bosco Fowler Memorial 5K Road Race sponsored by the Rotary Club of Stafford CT. It takes place at Stafford High School, 145 Orcuttville Road, Stafford Springs, CT 06076.
Distances
- 5K out-and-back on pavement, begins on the Stafford High School track.
- Kids' Fun Run one lap around the track, about 444 yards, ages 12 and under.
The 5K course runs through the school complex and is well marked. There is a water stop about halfway. The 5K is a timed race; walkers and well-behaved dogs on a leash are welcome. The Kids' Fun Run is one quarter mile around the track and parents may accompany children if needed.
Registration for the 5K opens June 24, 2026 and closes August 31, 2026; the registration fee is $35.00. Registration for the Kids' Fun Run opens June 24, 2026 and closes September 25, 2026; the fee is $20.00. On-site registration starts at 9:00 AM on the day of the event.
A free post-race barbecue is provided for runners and walkers. Spectators may bring lawn chairs or blankets. Ice cream will be provided by Ice Cream Depot. Race proceeds will support the Rotary Club of Stafford Charitable Fund. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
