Bosco Fowler Memorial 5K Road Race
The Bosco Fowler Memorial event is a community road race held at Stafford High School in Stafford Springs, Connecticut and presented by the Rotary Club of Stafford CT. The 2026 program is the fourth annual running of the 5K and includes a separate kids' fun run.
- 5K Road race, out and back on pavement, timed.
- 444 yards Kids' Fun Run, one lap around the track for ages 12 and under.
The 5K begins on the school track and runs through the school complex on a marked course. The route is an out-and-back on paved surfaces with a water stop about halfway. The 5K is a timed race; both runners and walkers may participate. Well-behaved dogs on a leash are allowed on the course.
Registration opens June 24, 2026. For the 5K, registration closes August 24, 2026; the Kids' Fun Run registration closes September 25, 2026. Published registration fees are $35 for the 5K and $20 for the Kids' Fun Run. Online registration and disposable bib tag race timing are provided by Nutmeg Finish Line Timing.
A free post race barbecue is offered for runners and walkers and ice cream will be provided by Ice Cream Depot. Race proceeds support the Rotary Club of Stafford Charitable Fund. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
