About the race
The Born to THRIVE 5K and Family Fun Walk is a benefit event on 09/12/2026 in Marlow, Oklahoma at 1113 N 9th St. The event supports Grace + Mae, a nonprofit serving children with special needs and their families.
The event program includes the following distances and formats:
- 5K
- 1 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk
- 100-Meter Kids' Dash
- Bubble Lap
- Virtual 5K
- 5K School Registration - Team Only
The 5K is a chip-timed race with awards to the top three male and top three female finishers in each age division. Age divisions are 0-8, 9-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-65, and 66+. The 5K route is marked and a lead car is provided.
The 1 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk is a noncompetitive, untimed route marked for turnaround. Strollers, wheelchairs, wagons, and walking companions are encouraged. The 100-Meter Kids' Dash and the Bubble Lap are untimed, participation-focused events; children in the dash and participants in the Bubble Lap receive finisher medals. The Virtual 5K option lets participants complete a 5K on their own course during the event period. The school registration option offers a discounted team rate.
