Event Overview
Born Survivor: Cheshire is a military-style obstacle course event. It is described as the UK's biggest authentic military obstacle course experience and is designed and delivered by Royal Marines Commandos. The event takes place at Capesthorne Hall in Cheshire, near Manchester.

The event offers several race categories:
- Classic Survivor 10km: A course featuring 30 military-grade obstacles. Participants must be aged 16 or over, with those aged 16-18 requiring a parent or guardian per four runners.
- Rookie 6km Survivor: A shorter course with 20 military-grade obstacles. Participants must be aged 14 or over, with those aged 14-18 requiring a parent or guardian per four runners.
- Elite Squadron 10km: A competitive wave for athletes, sponsored by Sportsshoes.com, INOV8, and Erdinger Alkoholfrei. Prizes and trophies are awarded for the top three male and female finishers.
Event Features
The obstacle course includes features such as slides, cold water obstacles, climbing nets, underground tunnels (including "The Great Escape"), climbing walls, a final wall called "The Blitz," and a long slide called "The Torpedo."
Participants receive a Born Survivor dog tag medal, a finisher's T-shirt, a battle rag or headover, and a free Erdinger Alkoholfrei recovery drink. The event also provides water stops, changing tents, and a bag drop (with a suggested charity donation). There are food stalls on site and a "Survivor Stripes Bar" selling craft beer, ale, and gin. Spectator entry is free, but a parking charge applies for vehicles.
