Boréalys Mont-Tremblant by UTMB is an ultra-trail event held in Quebec, Canada. The race takes place on the rugged trails of Mont-Tremblant, passing through dense forests and along the Devil’s River. The event incorporates elements of local folklore and culture, providing a course that moves from deep wilderness to the finish at the Tremblant village steeple.
The competition includes several race categories and distances:
- Odyssée 100K: a 80.7 km race with an elevation gain of 3636 m.
- Relais 80K: a relay format covering 80.7 km and 3636 m of elevation.
- Tremblante 50K: a 46.1 km course with 2437 m of elevation gain.
- Diable 20K: a distance of 26.6 km featuring 1561 m of elevation gain.
- Chutes-Croches 20K: a 14.5 km trail with a 858 m vertical gain.
- P'tite 5K: a short 5.8 km route with 362 m of elevation gain.
Participants have the opportunity to earn Running Stones for the UTMB World Series. Charity bibs are also available for those wishing to support specific causes. The event focuses on the intersection of nature and history, challenging runners to face the elevation and technical terrain of the trembling mountain.
