Event overview
The Boone Brave Run is scheduled for Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Boone High School - Stadium/Track in Orlando, Florida. The event is a 5K road race that begins in the Boone stadium and follows a route through adjacent neighborhoods including Delaney Park, Lake Davis and Cherokee Park. Both runners and walkers are welcome. Medals will be awarded to the top three finishing female and male students. A virtual participation option is offered.
Registration, fees and logistics
Registration fees are listed by age group: free for ages 0–6; $10 for ages 7–13; $30 for ages 14–19; $40 for ages 20 and up. For participants aged 14 and older, 50% of registration fees may be designated to a chosen Boone team or club; the remaining 50% covers race costs and supports Boone athletic facility improvements and team needs. Boone teams and clubs are eligible for spirit award prize monies of $700, $500 and $250 based on the number of registrations designated to their team. Packet pickup takes place at Boone’s front office on Thursday, 2/21 and Friday, 2/22 during scheduled windows. Parking is available in the student lot off Mills Ave and the faculty lot off Summerlin Ave (the faculty lot closes at 7:30 am).
