Event
The Boone Brave Run is scheduled for Saturday, February 21, 2026. The main event is the annual 5K held at Boone High School - Stadium/Track in Orlando, Florida. The course runs through adjacent neighborhoods including Delaney Park, Lake Davis and Cherokee Park. The event offers an in-person race and a virtual participation option.
Registration and awards
Registration fees vary by age: free for ages 6 and under; $10 for ages 7-13; $30 for ages 14-19; and $40 for adults 20 and older. For registrants aged 14 and up, up to 50% of the registration fee may be directed to a chosen Boone team or club; the remaining 50% is used for race costs and Boone athletic facility improvements and team needs. Medals will be awarded to the top three finishing female and male students. Boone teams and clubs are eligible for spirit award payments of $700, $500 and $250 based on the number of registrations designated to each team.
Logistics
Packet pickup is available at Boone High School front office on Thursday, 2/21 and Friday, 2/22. Parking is available in the student lot off Mills Ave and the faculty lot off Summerlin Ave. A race map PDF and additional event information are provided by the organizers.
