Event overview
The Waterloo Library & Historical Society presents the 2026 Bookish 5K & Cookie Fun Run (If You Give A Pig A Party) on Saturday, August 15, 2026, in Waterloo, NY 13165. Events and entry fees
The event program includes an in-person Bookish 5K, a Cookie Fun Run/Walk (the original 1-mile fun run around the library area), and a Bookish 5k Virtual event. Entry fees listed are: Bookish 5K $35, Cookie Fun Run $15, and children under 5 enter free. In the event of a cancellation, there are no refunds; entry fees will be retained as donations to the Waterloo Library & Historical Society.

Extras and awards
The first 100 Bookish 5K registrants will receive a book-themed medal and a T-shirt. Cookie Fun Run participants will receive a cake-themed medal.
