The Waterloo Library & Historical Society presents the 2026 Bookish 5K & Cookie Fun Run (If You Give A Pig A Party) on Saturday, August 15, 2026 in Waterloo, NY 13165. This is the third annual Bookish 5K: Stories in Stride event; the 2026 5K theme is listed as TBD. Registration opens April 1, 2026 at 12:00am EDT. Entry fees shown are: Bookish 5K $35, Cookie Fun Run $15, Bookish 5k Virtual $35, and children under age 5 free. The first 100 Bookish 5K registrants will receive a book-themed medal and T-shirt. The event text also notes a cake-themed medal for participants and that registrants under age 5 will receive a copy of this year’s book.
