Overview
The Waterloo Library & Historical Society presents the 2026 Bookish 5K & Cookie Fun Run (If You Give A Pig A Party) on August 15, 2026 in Waterloo, NY. The event is the third annual Bookish 5K: Stories in Stride and notes the 2026 5K theme as TBD. Entry fees listed by the organizer: 5K walk/run $35, Cookie Run $15, children under 5 free. Registration opens April 1, 2026. The organizer states there are no refunds in the event of cancellation and entry fees will be used as donations.
The organizer notes the first 100 Bookish 5K participants will receive a book-themed medal and T-shirt. The event description also refers to participants receiving a cake-themed medal and says registrations for children under 5 will receive a copy of this year’s book.
