The 40th Annual Boogie's Buddy Race takes place on July 4, 2026, at Rio Grande Park, 427 Rio Grande Pl, Aspen, CO 81611. The event is presented by Aspen Valley Health.
Distances offered include:
- 5-mile race
- 5K race
- 1-mile family run/walk; family registration up to six, one bib per family
Registration opens April 1, 2026. Race entry fees vary by event and by date, and fees increase on June 1. The family fun run registration fee is listed as $150 for a family of six or fewer. Online registration for the 5K and 5-mile races closes on race day; there are no in-person registrations for those races that day. Family Fun Run registration is allowed on race day and that event is not timed.
The event is family and pet-friendly. Race shirts are available and sizing is provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
The event supports the Buddy Program’s four youth mentoring programs and serves over 600 youth, families, and volunteers across Aspen to Glenwood Springs and Rifle. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
