Event Overview
The 40th Annual Boogie's Buddy Race is a running event scheduled for July 4. It takes place at Rio Grande Park in Aspen, Colorado.
Distances
The event offers three different distances:
- Boogie's Buddy 5-Mile Race
- Boogie's Buddy 5K Race
- Boogie's Buddy 1-Mile Family Fun Run/Walk
The family run allows registration for families of up to six members.
Registration and Details
Registration for all events opens on April 15. The 1-Mile Family Fun Run/Walk is a non-timed event. Event organizers state that the race is family and pet-friendly. A race shirt is available for runners, with sizes offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
The event benefits the Buddy Program, supporting its youth mentoring programs for communities from Aspen to Glenwood Springs and Rifle. Participants can pick up their race bibs and shirts ahead of the event at designated locations in Basalt and Aspen on specific dates in late June and early July.
Online registration for the 5K and 5-mile races closes at 7 a.m. on the day of the event, with no in-person registration available for those races on race day.
