Booby Bolt 5k & Kids 1 Mile Fun Run
Pink Out for Hope, Inc. is a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Cheatham County, Tennessee. The organization raises funds to help local breast cancer patients with treatment-related expenses, to support research, and to raise awareness. The Booby Bolt serves as the main annual fundraising event and directs net proceeds toward those local efforts.
The event takes place at Pleasant View Community Park in Pleasant View, TN. It includes organized options for participants and supporters:
- 3.1 miles Booby Bolt 5k
- 1 mile Kids Fun Run for children 12 and under
- Supporter entry called Booby Buddy for those who want to contribute without participating
Fees are stated for each option, with a preregistration price for the 5k, a higher price on race day, a reduced team rate for groups of eight or more, and a separate fee for the Kids Fun Run. Team entries require at least eight participants and are not accepted on race day. Kids Fun Run entries do not have race day registration and include a medal and t-shirt for each child; one adult may run with each child at no extra charge.
Bibs and timing are required for entry to the timed event. Prizes are awarded to the first male and first female in each age category. Swag bag and t-shirt pickup is available in the days before the event at Legends Bank in Pleasant View; registering by September 15 guarantees a t-shirt and swag bag.
