Boka Marathon
The Boka Marathon is a multi-distance running event held in the scenic Boka Bay region of Montenegro. The event features a variety of courses established between the towns of Tivat and Kotor. Participants can choose from several different distances:
- Marathon: A 42 km race.
- Half marathon: A 21 km course.
- Siro 10k: A 10 km race.
- Supplement Store 5k: A 5 km pleasure run.
- Boka Mile: A shorter race ranging from 400 m to 1600 m.
The course is described as super fast and flat, following the coastline from Tivat to Kotor. The event holds an AIMS certificate, ensuring internationally recognized course standards.
The event schedule is split over two days, with the 10 km and 5 km races occurring on the first day, followed by the marathon and half marathon on the second day. The race center is located at the Sports Hall Župa in Tivat. The region is accessible via Tivat Airport, Podgorica Airport, and Dubrovnik Airport in Croatia.
