Boilerman Triathlon
Boilerman is an annual Olympic distance triathlon hosted by the Purdue Triathlon Club at White Oaks Campground on the banks of Lake Freeman in Monticello, Indiana. The event offers individual, collegiate and relay entries and uses the standard Olympic distances.
Distances
- 1500 meter swim
- 40 kilometer bike
- 10 kilometer run
Eligibility and championship status: the race is open to all individuals 18 years of age or older and serves as the Mid-East Collegiate Conference MECTC championship. Collegiate participants score double points toward MECTC season rankings and USAT Collegiate Nationals eligibility. Each year racers from more than twenty colleges and universities attend.
Entry and fees: registration opens July 20, 2026 and closes August 31, 2026. Listed event fees are:
- Olympic Triathlon Collegiate entry fee $90.00
- Olympic Triathlon Individual entry fee $100.00
- Olympic Relay two to three person team entry fee $115.00
Team and apparel notes: each relay team member must register individually; the first team member to register pays the full team fee and creates the team name, while the next two members register and join the team for free. T shirt sizes can only be guaranteed for registrations made within three weeks of the race date. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
