The 2026 Boilermaker Shakeout Run
The event takes place on July 10, 2026, at The Sneaker Store, 24 Genesee St., New Hartford, NY 13413. It is hosted by The Sneaker Store and New Balance Running and is described as a free, family friendly fun run.
The course is an easy 3 mile loop that starts and ends at The Sneaker Store. Participants may run as little or as far as they wish. Runners under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the run.
Registration is free. Registration opens on April 3, 2026 and closes on July 8, 2026. The first 200 registered participants will receive a complimentary Shakeout Run tank from New Balance.
New Balance will offer free demos of their latest shoes and provide a coupon code in a goodie bag that is redeemable on New Balance purchases. After the run, participants can go to Grow Brewing Co. where beverages including non alcoholic options will be available and a food truck will be on site.
