BoFish Triathlon
BoFish Triathlon is a community triathlon presented by Happy Place and held at Pinewood Lake in Trumbull, Connecticut. Registration is not yet open; notifications are available for when registration opens.
The event course includes a swim, a bike ride, and a run around the lake. Distances are:
- 1 mile swim in Pinewood Lake
- 25 miles out-and-back bike course
- 5 miles run around the lake with notable hills
On-course amenities and event features listed by the organizer include DJ music selected for participants and volunteers, a live a capella national anthem, and event schwag and prizes such as Thule luggage and original BoFish artwork.
Awards are given to the top four male and female overall finishers and to the top relay team. Non-award age categories for men and women are published after the event and include: 19 & under, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, and 65+.
All proceeds benefit the Cardinal Sheehan Center, an inner city community youth center in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
Event logistics note that bib pickup is handled by event staff. Participants who register three weeks in advance may receive a personalized race number; a self-lookup area is available if a bib number is unknown.
