Event Overview
The Candy Cane Course - Cleveland is a holiday-themed running event held at Clark Field in Cleveland, Ohio. This annual event offers a variety of distances to accommodate different experience levels and age groups. Participants can choose between competitive timed races and untimed recreational options.
The event features the following distances:
- Kids Dash (untimed for ages 10 and under)
- 1 Mile (untimed)
- 5k (chip-timed)
- 10k (chip-timed)
- 15k (chip-timed)
Registration for the 5k, 10k, and 15k includes a designer shirt, a custom bib, and a finisher medal. The 1 Mile participants also receive a shirt and medal. Children participating in the Kids Dash receive a specifically crafted medal and a youth-sized shirt. While the main races are timed with live results and awards, the Kids Dash and 1 Mile are strictly recreational.
The event provides chip-timing for the longer distances, with live results and awards available at the registration tent. Participants can find performance awards for various age groups, ranging from 10 and under to 80 and over. Additionally, the event allows for a virtual race option for those unable to attend in person, involving the shipping of race swag following the event date.
