Christmas-Themed Running Event in Memphis
The Candy Cane Course is a holiday-themed athletic event taking place in Memphis, Tennessee. This event offers a variety of distances to accommodate different preferences, including options for competitive running and non-timed participation. The race features a Christmas theme throughout the experience.
Participants can choose from the following in-person distances:
- Kids Dash (50m) for ages 10 and under.
- 1 Mile untimed fun run.
- 5k (3.1 miles) chip-timed race.
- 10k (6.2 miles) chip-timed race.
- 15k (9.3 miles) chip-timed race.
The chip-timed distances include live results and age group awards. All registered participants in the 1 mile, 5k, 10k, and 15k receive a designer shirt, a custom bib, and a finisher medal. The Kids Dash registration provides a youth-sized shirt, a mini bib, and a specific medal, though children may participate in the dash for free if they do not require the commemorative items.
Additional event features include free professional photography and food treats provided at the finish line. For those unable to attend the physical location in Memphis, a virtual race option is available, allowing participants to complete their chosen distance and receive the event memorabilia by mail.
