Bobcat Scorcher 5K Run/Walk
The Bobcat Scorcher is the 15th annual 5K Run/Walk held in Bluffton, South Carolina on August 8, 2026. The event begins and ends at Bluffton High School, located at 12 HE McCracken Circle, Bluffton, SC 29910. Participants follow a scenic and fast course through the heart of Bluffton.
Proceeds benefit the Bluffton High School Cross Country Team, the Grace Sulak Scholarship Foundation, and the Scorcher Senior Student Scholarship Fund. Registration for the main entry opens June 2, 2026 and closes July 31, 2026 with a registration fee of $35. A student discount entry is available with registration open from June 2, 2026 and closing August 6, 2026 at a fee of $25.
The first 300 registered participants will receive a commemorative tri-blend race shirt. Custom finisher medals will be awarded to the overall male and female champions and to the top three finishers in each age division: 12 & Under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+.
