Boalsburg Memorial Day Run
The Boalsburg Memorial Day Run is a running and walking event held in Boalsburg, Pennsylvania. Participants follow a course through the historic areas of the town, starting and finishing at Blue Spring Park. The event coincides with local Memorial Day festivities and features a presence from representatives of various military branches at the start and finish lines.
The race offers the following participation options:
- 3.8 Miles individual run
- 3.8 Miles team of 2 division
The event includes several award categories for participants. The top three overall male and female finishers receive awards. Additionally, race medals are provided to the top male and female finishers in age groups ranging from 13 and under to 70 and over. Special recognition is given to the oldest and youngest male and female participants.
Specific competitive divisions are available for the Athena and Clydesdale categories. The event also honors military participation with awards for retired military members and those currently serving. For those entered in the team division, rankings are determined by the combined times of both participants. Team categories include two-person male, two-person female, and two-person mixed groups.
