BMR NNJ Annual Juneteenth 5K Run / 1 Mile Walk
This event is scheduled for June 20–21, 2026 at the Essex County Parks Boat Pavilion in West Orange, New Jersey. It is hosted by Black Men Run North New Jersey Chapter and offers both in-person and virtual participation.
Race formats include the following distances:
- 5K
- 1 Mile
- 5 Miles (virtual challenge)
The 5K is presented as a timed run and the 1 Mile is a walking only event. The virtual challenge can be completed independently and does not require submitting a time. The event is planned to proceed rain or shine.
Registration opened April 6, 2026. Fee levels are listed as Early Bird $30 plus fees for April 6 to April 19, Regular $40 plus fees for April 20 to May 24, and Final $45 plus fees for May 25 to June 20. Race day registration is noted as available. All registered participants, both in-person and virtual, receive a finisher medal to mark participation.
