Intercare Blouberg Marathon 2026
The Intercare Blouberg Marathon is a two-day road running event hosted by West Coast Athletic Club in Cape Town. The event is an official qualifier for the Comrades and Two Oceans Marathons and features a fast, flat route along the Blouberg coastline with an elevation gain of about 50 m. The 2026 edition includes a new start location and revised routes. All races start and finish at Eden on the Bay.
Entries are online only and close on 13 September or when capacity is reached. No entries are accepted on race day. Substitutions are permitted during the official substitution period. Entries include an official race number and timing chip, a finisher medal for all finishers, free race photos, and a free T-shirt for the first 500 marathon entrants. Race timing is gun to mat with an additional timing mat at 28 km for the marathon. Parking is available at Table Bay Mall with a R20 all day parking ticket. myCiTi shuttle services will transport runners between Table Bay Mall and the start area. Bag drop is provided at participants own risk.
