Intercare Blouberg Marathon 2026
Intercare Blouberg Marathon is a two-day road running event in Cape Town, Western Cape, held at Eden on the Bay. The weekend programme includes a full marathon on the first day and multiple races on the second day. The event is organised by West Coast Athletic Club and has a typical age range from 12 years and up.
Distances include:
- 42.2 km Marathon, a Comrades and Two Oceans qualifier
- 21.1 km Half Marathon, designated as a WPA Championship race
- 10 km Run
- 5 km Fun Run
Entry fees for licensed runners are published for each distance. Examples include R350 for the marathon, R230 for the half marathon, R150 for the 10 km, and R80 for the 5 km. A race t-shirt is available for purchase for R195 and the first 500 marathon paid entries receive a free race t-shirt. Temporary licence fees apply to unlicensed runners.
Medals are awarded to all finishers and prize money is provided for age category winners. Additional WPA Championship prize money applies to the 21.1 km race. Number collection is available at multiple venues including Sportsman’s Warehouse Rondebosch, Table Bay Mall and Eden on the Bay with Eden on the Bay handling the 5 km collection.
