Event overview
Bloomsday is an annual road race in Spokane, Washington, organized by the Lilac Bloomsday Association. The 2026 event is the 50th running and is held on May 3, 2026. The main race covers 12 kilometers (7.46 miles) and includes both elite and recreational participants. Bloomsday has been held since 1977 and is part of the Professional Road Running Organization (PRRO) circuit. Junior Bloomsday is a youth race for participants in grades 3–7. Marmot March is a family-friendly 1-mile walk/run for children in third grade or younger and is held at Riverfront Park. The Corporate Cup is a team competition for companies, with teams of 3–5 employees. A Virtual Bloomsday option is offered.
