Event Overview
The Adrian Mitchell 5k Block Island Turkey Trot is an annual walking and running event held on Block Island, Rhode Island. The event takes place at the Fred Benson Town Beach Pavilion on Corn Neck Road. This athletic gathering serves as a remembrance for Adrian Mitchell and functions as a fundraiser to support the annual community ski trip.

Logistics and Course details
The start and finish lines are located at the Fred Benson Town Beach. Registration for the event includes a pre-registration phase and an option for day-of sign-up at a higher cost. Commemorative T-shirts are provided to those who pre-register for the event.
The 5k is scheduled to take place rain or shine. Because the event is located on Block Island, the schedule is dependent on ferry services; in the event that boats are cancelled, the race may be postponed to a later date.
