Blizzard Run 5k & 1 Mile Fun Run
The Blizzard Run includes a 5k and a 1 mile Fun Run held at Anytime Fitness in Glennville, Georgia. The event raises money for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and directs all proceeds to that organization. Proceeds are donated during Miracle Treat Day presented by Dairy Queen Glennville and the funds stay local to support treatments and healthcare services for children.
Race features and amenities include a certified course and electronic timing for accurate race times. Each participant receives a Dairy Queen Blizzard at the finish. Walkers are welcome and pets and strollers may join on the course. Volunteers will be present to assist and to support a safe Fun Run experience for children.
Awards are given for overall male and female finishers and for the top two male and female in each age group. Age groups are listed as 9 and under, 10 to 14, 15 to 19, 20 to 24, 25 to 29, 30 to 34, 35 to 39, 40 to 44, 45 to 49, 50 to 54, 55 to 59, 60 to 64, 65 to 69, 70 to 74, 75 to 79, and 80 and over.
