Blizzard Run 5k & 1 Mile Fun Run
The Blizzard Run is a community running event held at Anytime Fitness, 108 W China St, Glennville, GA, scheduled for July 18, 2026. The event raises funds for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, and all money raised is donated during Miracle Treat Day presented by Dairy Queen Glennville. Each participant receives a Dairy Queen Blizzard at the finish.
Distances offered:
- 5k (3.1 miles)
- 1 mile fun run
The 5k is timed with a race timer and the course is certified. Walkers are welcome, and pets and strollers are permitted. Volunteers will be present to support participants during the fun run, and the event notes a family-friendly atmosphere.
Awards are given to the overall male and female finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group. Age divisions start at 9 and under, then 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79 and 80 and over.
