9/11 Heroes Run - Hinesville, GA
The 9/11 Heroes Run in Hinesville, Georgia, is scheduled for September 19, 2026 at Shuman Recreation Center and Shuman Trail. The event brings together runners, ruckers, and walkers to honor the heroes of 9/11 and those who have served since. It aims to activate and unite communities and to support local veterans, active duty personnel, first responders, and families of the fallen.
TMF partners with GORUCK to offer a rucking division at this event. Rucking is described as a sport based on special forces training in which participants walk or run while carrying weighted rucksacks. Participants registered in the GORUCK division will receive this year's TMF GORUCK patch.
