About the race
Blitzen the Dotte is a community 5k run and walk held by the Wyandotte Boat Club. The 2026 edition takes place on Saturday, November 21, 2026. The flat 5k course runs through downtown Wyandotte and the adjoining Wyandotte Shores Golf Course.
The event includes a short youth event called the Little Reindeer 1/4 Mile Run for kids. The adult 5k starts at the corner of Biddle and Pine; the kids run starts and finishes behind the Wyandotte Boat Club. Participants receive a long sleeve T-shirt.
Blitzen the Dotte has been organized as a fall tradition for 16 years. The event raises funds for the youth rowing programs sponsored by the Wyandotte Boat Club. Registration options include online entry and an upcoming mail-in or drop-off printable form; a 5k course map is available for the event.
