Blazing Trails 5K Run & 1 Mile Walk for Autism
The Blazing Trails event takes place on October 4, 2026 at Eisenhower Park - Field #2, Parking Lot 2, East Meadow, NY 11554. The event offers both in-person and virtual participation.

All participants receive a race-themed long-sleeved hoodie. Personalized bibs are available for registrants who sign up three weeks before the event. The course is USATF certified. Live results, free finish line photos, text and email results, and same-day finish line video are provided. Additional on-site activities include a scavenger hunt (in-person and virtual), a door prize drawing with multiple bib prizes and a large screen TV grand prize, and costume contests with $50 gift card awards in several categories.
Awards are not eligible for certain top overall categories; listed awards include Top 1 Male/Female Overall, Top 2 Non-Binary, Top 1 Masters (40+), Top 1 Wheelchair, and Top 3 Male/Female in multiple age groups from 12 & under through 90+. Registration options list base fees such as a $35 registration tier and total amounts that vary by registration date; an example early total including processing fees is $38.98. Virtual bibs are mailed the Monday prior to the event (allow 3–5 days). Registration fees are non-refundable. Net proceeds benefit the Eden II and Genesis Foundation.
