Bib pick up is scheduled on May 17 at Deerfield Park from 6:30 AM to 7:45 AM; bibs will be assigned at check-in and a QR code may be used for quick check-in.
The event is held in memory of a local firefighter and benefits The Rhode Island Brain & Spine Tumor Foundation. Fundraising progress shown on the event page lists $260 raised of a $5,000 target.
Awards, rules and partners
Awards include top three overall male and female for both the 5k and 10k, plus first-place age-group awards (male and female) for both distances. Age groups are: 19 & under; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75-79; 80-84; 84-90; 90+. Dogs and strollers are precluded from participating.
