Event Overview
The Blazer Bolt for Brain Cancer is the 13th annual edition of this event. It is organized by Blazer Bolt, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The event was created to support people battling brain cancer. All proceeds directly benefit the University of Alabama Birmingham Division of Neuro Oncology and Children’s of Alabama Neuro Oncology for research into adult and pediatric brain cancer, as well as patient support services.

Event Location
All in-person events start and finish at Railroad Park (1600 1st Ave South) in Birmingham, Alabama.
Additional Activities
A Survivor & Memorial Walk is scheduled. Registration is not required for this walk.
Registration Details
Registration for a guaranteed race T-shirt and size closes on a specified date in April. Entry fees are non-refundable. Awards are based on chip time for age groups (male and female, every five years starting at age 10), as well as for overall and masters categories.
Packet Pickup
Packet and T-shirt pickup is available at two locations and times:
- At the Trak Shak on S 18th St in Homewood, Alabama, on the Friday before the event.
- At Railroad Park in Birmingham on the morning of the event.
