Blazer Bolt for Brain Cancer 5K
The 14th Blazer Bolt for Brain Cancer takes place on May 22, 2027, at Railroad Park (1600 First Ave South) in Birmingham, Alabama. The event offers in-person and virtual run/walk options and raises funds for neuro-oncology research and patient support.

Registration fees are listed at $25 per entry and are non-refundable. A deadline of April 16, 2027 is listed to guarantee a race T-shirt and size; registration deadlines for specific events vary. Packet and T-shirt pick up is scheduled the week before the event at Trak Shak on South 18th Street in Homewood, Alabama, and there is no packet pick up on race day. For virtual entries, packet pick up will be held race week at Trak Shak and there is an option to have the race T-shirt mailed for an additional fee.
Chip timing is used. Awards include age-group prizes for men and women in five-year bands starting with 9 and under and continuing up to 70 plus, plus overall and masters awards for men and women.
