Blake's Berry Fast 5K
Blake's Berry Fast 5K is an outdoor running event held at Blake’s Lyon Township property in South Lyon, Michigan. The course covers a distance of 5 km and takes place on the 50-acre family-owned orchard grounds. Participants run or walk on scenic gravel trails that wind throughout the orchard property.
The event is open to participants of all ages. Due to the gravel terrain, strollers are permitted at the discretion of the participant. Registration includes several amenities for those who complete the course, such as a donut and a glass of either hard or sweet cider. Each participant also receives a t-shirt and a commemorative glass. T-shirt sizes are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis and are not guaranteed for those who register less than 14 days before the event.
Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the top two male and female finishers in various age categories. These categories range from 14 and under to 70 and over. Packet pick-up is available both on the day before the race and on the morning of the event at the property located at 61475 Silver Lake Road.
