The Black Diamond Half Marathon returns to Tyler for its second edition on April 18, 2026. Choose from a half marathon, 10K, 5K, or 1 mile at Rose Rudman Park, with a free Kid's Dash also available. All participants receive a custom finisher medal and t-shirt, with age group awards for the top four.

Black Diamond Half Marathon - Tyler

The event takes place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Rose Rudman Park in Tyler, Texas. It is the second edition of this running event in East Texas.

Participants can choose from several race distances:

Virtual Option There is also a free Kid's Dash, a 100–200-meter sprint for children.

Registration for timed events includes an event-themed t-shirt and a custom finisher medal. The race is chip-timed for distances of 5K and longer. It is a gun-timed event. The race is open to runners and walkers, with no strict cut-off times enforced.

Awards are given to the top four finishers in each age group for the 5K, 10K, and Half-Marathon. Awards are also presented to male and female overall winners, masters winners (40+), and grand masters winners (60+). All awards are distributed on-site at the event.
