Black Cat Classic 5K
The Black Cat Classic 5K is a timed 5K (5000 meter / 3.1 miles) event held on 10/17/2026 at the Henry County YMCA, 300 Wittenbraker Ave, New Castle, IN 47362. The program includes both a running event and a walking event, each with the same advertised distance and registration fee.
The course begins in the YMCA parking lot, follows city streets, and finishes back at the YMCA along the Wilbur Wright Trail. The route has measured splits at 1 mile and 2 miles. A water station is provided on course. Bicycles are not permitted on the course.
Runners, walkers, and strollers are permitted to participate. Registration for the events opens 7/24/2026 and closes 10/7/2026; the registration fee is $25.00.
