Muncie Triathlon #1 - USAT State Championship
The event takes place on May 17, 2026 at Prairie Creek Reservoir Park in Selma, IN. It is the USAT State Championships and includes Sprint and Olympic distance triathlons, duathlon, aquabike, and relay options. Divisions for high school, Clydesdale, and Athena are offered. The event is organized by Ruble Triathlon and is held at a venue with more than 40 years of triathlon racing history.
Course details and awards
The venue features quiet roads with mild rollers, a large beach and lake with a beach house, a finish in a shaded park area, and ample parking near the transition area. There are hotels and dining options in and around Muncie.
- Sprint Triathlon: 500 yard swim; 12.5 mile bike; 3.1 mile run
- Olympic Triathlon: 1650 yard swim; 25 mile bike; 6.2 mile run
