Bishop High Sierra Ultras
The Bishop High Sierra Ultras are a set of trail races held at Millpond Recreation Area near Bishop, California on May 22, 2027. The event offers multiple distances:

- 20 Mile
- 53K
- 50 Mile
- 100K
Courses start and finish at Millpond County Park and travel through the Tungsten Hills and surrounding Eastern Sierra foothills. Terrain is mainly four wheel drive dirt roads with some single-track and short pavement sections. Much of the longer courses are at high altitude, with sustained climbing and exposed, often dry and rocky sections; significant portions of the 100K and 50 Mile routes lie above 7000 feet.
Aid stations are positioned roughly every 3 to 7 miles and provide a variety of food and drinks, medical kits, foot care, anti-chafe products, and sunscreen; pain relief medications are not offered. Runners are tracked by local ham radio volunteers. Drop bags are accepted at designated locations near the start and are returned to Millpond after aid stations close.
Logistics note: crew vehicle access is limited to specific roadside locations and pacers are permitted from designated aid stations. Dogs are not allowed at Millpond or in the start/finish area under county ordinance. The event is organized as a benefit for local outdoor youth programming and Inyo County Search and Rescue and is operated with required land management permits.
