Birkenhead Park 5 Mile 2026
The Birkenhead Park 5 Mile is the 54th edition of a road race first held in 1972. The 2026 event takes place on 22 July 2026 at The Birkenhead Park Visitor Centre, Park Drive, CH41 4HY, United Kingdom. It is organised by Wirral AC.
The race uses chip timing on an accredited course. All finishers receive a memento. There is a prize of £100 for a new course record for both male and female runners, and cash prizes for first, second and third places in both the male and female categories of £50, £30 and £10 respectively. Free professional photos are provided and a water station is available on each lap.
A separate childrens 1 mile race is held with a memento for participants. Registration takes place at the visitor centre in the finish area. Entry options include general and Wirral AC member rates; UKA affiliated members may receive a discount if their details match the UKA database. The published entry fee options include a general price and a reduced member price, and a booking fee applies. The refund policy offers a full refund less a £2 charge until 30 April 2026.
