Billericay Striders 10k Road Race
The event takes place on 5 July 2026 at Hannakins Farm Community Centre, Rosebay Avenue, Billericay, Essex CM12 0SY. It is governed by England Athletics and entries must be made through an EntryCentral account; the entry closing date is 11 June 2026. The event offers up to 815 places.
The race is a 10 km road course described as undulating rather than hilly. The main incline runs up to Queens Park near the start, followed by a downhill stretch and undulating countryside leading to a gradual ascent to the finish. The course is noted as attracting both faster competitors and recreational runners.
Entry fees are £22 for England Athletics affiliated runners and £24 for unaffiliated runners, plus an administration/service fee of 4 percent (minimum 50p). Teams consist of four runners sharing the same team name, which is taken from the Club name on each runner's EntryCentral account; identical spelling and initials are required for team scoring.
Swapping entries between friends and family is available via the EntryCentral Change Person function. Transfers to other runners will be managed via a waitlist operating for two weeks from 28 May. Headphones are prohibited except bone-conducting devices or hearing aids; buggies and dogs are not allowed. Competitors must be at least 16 years old on race day.
Prizes include a £100 cash award for the first male and first female and additional cash prizes across open, under 21 and veteran categories. All finishers receive a souvenir. A £100 cash prize is offered to each of the male and female runners who break the course records set at 30.01 for men and 37.00 for women.
