Billericay Striders 10k Road Race
The event is a 10 km road race held on 5 July 2026 at Hannakins Farm Community Centre, Rosebay Avenue, Billericay, Essex CM12 0SY. The field is limited to 850 places and the event is governed by England Athletics. The official entry closing date was 11 June 2026.
The course is described as undulating rather than hilly. The main incline runs up to Queens Park near the start, followed by a downhill stretch and undulating country roads leading to a gradual ascent to the finish. A souvenir is provided for all finishers.
Entries were accepted only through EntryCentral accounts. Entry fees were £22 for runners affiliated to England Athletics and £24 for unaffiliated runners. EntryCentral charges an administration fee of 4 percent, with a service fee minimum of 50p. No refunds or deferals are made except where organisers cancel the event; in case of cancellation entrants were to be offered deferal to 2027, donation of the fee to supported charities including Essex Search and Rescue, or a refund less administration charges.
Teams consist of four runners sharing the same team name as recorded on EntryCentral and are automatically eligible for the team prize. Swapping between friends and family was available via the account "Change Person" function; a public waitlist for transfers was scheduled for a two week period from 28 May. Headphones are strictly prohibited except bone conducting devices or hearing aids, and running with buggies or dogs is not permitted.
Prizes include a £100 cash award for first male and first female, additional cash prizes across open and age categories, trophies for category winners, and a £100 bonus for breaking the male or female course records of 30:01 and 37:00 respectively.
