About the race
The Bigfoot Half Trail Run takes place at Stoney Run County Park in Hebron, Indiana on November 14, 2026. The event is organized as a half trail run that uses park trails and nearby paths. The course consists of two loops with an overlapping section. Surfaces include grass fields, pavement, gravel road and single-track dirt trails.
Flags and arrow signs mark the route and participants are instructed to follow the flags rather than other runners. Packet pick-up is located at the first shelter on the right after entering the park; parking areas are shown on the event map and there is no parking on the road. The start and finish area is located near the park restrooms. At packet pick-up each participant receives a raffle ticket; winners are selected during the race and posted on a results board, and prize items are claimed at a prize table.
Old Crazy Legs Race Series items will be sold for $5 with proceeds going to the park. Bigfoot hats are available and participants may select a style upon arrival. Aid is provided at the main start/finish area with water, Gatorade, granola bars and UCANN gels. A non-manned aid station at about 3.5 miles offers water and Gatorade.
Timing is done using a numbered popsicle stick that must be returned to a volunteer at the shelter; there is no formal awards ceremony, and medals for overall and age-group places are handed out after stick return. Runners should pin their bib to the front of their shirt and be aware that the park is open to the public. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
