Event Overview

The Bigfoot Half Trail Run takes place at Stoney Run County Park, located at 9230 E 142nd Ave in Hebron, Indiana.

The Course

The course consists of two loops and features a mix of grass fields, pavement, gravel road, and single-track dirt trails. The route includes an overlapping section on each loop. The main aid station at the start/finish area provides water, Gatorade, granola bars, and UCANN gels. A second, non-manned aid station with water and Gatorade is located at the 3.5-mile mark.

Race Details

Participants receive a Bigfoot hat upon arrival. A raffle ticket is given at packet pickup, with winners selected during the race. Participants must check posted numbers after finishing to claim a prize. The event uses "old school timing," where finishers receive a numbered popsicle stick to turn in to a volunteer. Medals are given to the overall male and female finishers and top three in each age group upon turning in the stick. There is no formal awards ceremony.

Parking is available in designated areas circled on a provided map; parking on the road is not permitted. Packet pickup is at the first shelter on the right side after entering the park and turning left. The start and finish area is near the park bathrooms.
