Bigfoot Half Trail Run : Stoney Run County Park
The Bigfoot Half Trail Run is a trail race held at Stoney Run County Park in Hebron, Indiana, on November 14, 2026. The event uses a looped course that requires two laps and includes an overlapping section on each loop.
The course surface includes grass fields, pavement, gravel road, and single-track dirt trails. Course marking uses flags and arrow signs; participants are asked to follow the flags rather than other runners. Course data is available on Strava and Ride with GPS.
The main aid station is located at the start and finish area and provides water, Gatorade, granola bars, and UCANN gels. A non-manned aid station with water and Gatorade is located near the 3.5 mile mark. Participants who require specific food or gels are advised to carry their own supplies in a hydration pack.
Packet pick-up is near the first shelter inside the park; parking areas are shown on the event map and on-road parking is not permitted. The start and finish area is located near the park restrooms. At packet pick-up each participant receives a raffle ticket; winners are selected during the race and posted on a results board. Bigfoot hat styles are available to choose at arrival.
Timing is handled informally: finishers receive a numbered popsicle stick that must be returned to a volunteer at the shelter. Medals for overall and age group places are distributed after the stick is turned in. There is no formal awards ceremony. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
