Event Overview
The Big Heart 5k takes place in Center Moriches, New York. This event serves as a fundraiser for Empower Wellness, a charity focused on supporting youth and adolescents across New York. The organization aims to provide access to athletics and mental health services, breaking down financial barriers to sports participation and therapy.

The in-person events are based at Neville Park. Participants can pick up their race packets at the Sayville Running Company on the Friday before the event or at the park on the morning of the race. T-shirts are guaranteed for the first 200 individuals who register.
The event recognizes top performers with specific awards. The first male and female finishers receive gift cards to a local running store. Additionally, age group awards are presented to the top three finishers within 10-year age brackets.
