Big Bertha 12-hour Endurance Run
The Big Bertha 12-hour Endurance Run is scheduled for Saturday 21 August 2027 at Bertha Park Green, Adamson Avenue, Perth PH1 0AU. The event is organised by Wee Run Events.
Participants complete a timed 12 hour trail on a looped course around Bertha Loch and Almondbank. The circuit is a 10 km loop; entrants run as many laps as they choose within the 12 hour period. Entry is available for solo runners and for teams entering a relay.
Distances available include:
- Single 10 km lap
- 10 km distance
- Half marathon distance by completing laps
- Marathon and longer distances by completing additional laps
The course is fully marked and marshalled with on-course medical cover and an intermediate water station around the 5 km mark of each lap. Chip timing is provided by Keep it Simple Timing Services with live results. All finishers receive a wooden commemorative medal crafted by The Workshop, Aberfeldy, and there are awards for the furthest distances covered in Female, Male, and Non Binary categories.
