Bideford 10 Mile
Bideford 10 mile is a road race scheduled for 1 November 2026 and is licensed by RunEvents with Certificate of Course Accuracy 19/580. The event starts and finishes very close to the Bideford Amateur Athletic Club clubhouse and the course takes in views of the Taw and Torridge estuary. The route heads out on roads and returns along the Tarka Trail, and it includes a tunnel. The course is described as moderately flat with three small inclines.
The race supports North Devon Hospice. Entrants receive a bespoke 2026 medal and a T-shirt; sizes are allocated from the original entry and may only be swapped after all finisher shirts have been handed out.
Entry is managed by RaceNation. Online entries close on Friday 30 October or when the event reaches its capacity of 900 runners. Changes and transfers must be completed by Monday 12 October. Entry fees are non-refundable and cannot be deferred to other races.
Prizes include cash awards for the top three men and women, a cash bonus for a new course record, category cash prizes and trophies from U20 to V75. All prizes are presented on the day.
Key participant rules and facilities: no walkers, no headphones, no dogs or wheeled devices. Runners must be capable of averaging 15 minutes per mile or faster and finish within the 2 hour 30 minute cut-off. Changing facilities and showers are in the clubhouse; portable toilets and baggage storage are provided.
