Bideford 10 Mile
The Bideford 10 Mile is a licensed road and trail race organised by Bideford Amateur Athletic Club on 1 November 2026 (RunEvents licence, Certificate of Course Accuracy 19/580). The 10 Mile course starts and finishes very close to the Bideford AAC clubhouse and runs out on roads before returning along the Tarka Trail. The route offers views of the Taw and Torridge estuary and includes a section through a tunnel. The course is described as moderately flat with three small inclines.
Entries are limited to 900 runners; online entries close on Friday 30 October or earlier if capacity is reached. Registration changes and transfers are handled through RaceNation, with all transfers and changes required to be completed by 11pm on Monday 12 October. Entry fees are non refundable and cannot be deferred or transferred to another race.
Finishers receive a bespoke 2026 medal and a T-shirt; requested T-shirt sizes are allocated at entry and substitutions can only be made after all finishers shirts have been handed out. Prize structure includes cash awards for the top three men and women, a course record bonus, and category cash and trophies up to V75, with prizes presented on the day. Event rules include no walkers, a 15 minutes per mile average requirement and a 2 hours 30 minutes cut off, no headphones, and no dogs or wheeled devices.
