Bideford 10 Mile - Bideford Amateur Athletic Club
The Bideford 10 Mile takes place on 1 November 2026 and is licensed by RunEvents with Certificate of Course Accuracy 19/580. The event supports North Devon Hospice and offers a bespoke 2026 medal and T-shirt to finishers.
The 10 Mile course starts and finishes very close to the Bideford Amateur Athletic Club clubhouse and includes views of the Taw and Torridge estuary. The route heads out on roads and returns on the Tarka Trail, including a short tunnel section. The course is described as moderately flat with three small inclines.
Entries are managed by RaceNation. Online entry closes on Friday 30 October or when the event reaches its capacity of 900 runners. Race place transfers must be completed by Monday 12 October. Entry fees are non refundable and cannot be deferred or transferred to another race.
Prizes include cash awards for top senior positions, category trophies for U20 to V75 men and women, and a cash bonus if the first man or woman breaks the existing course records of 49:57 (male) or 57:46 (female). All prizes and trophies are presented on the day of the race only.
Event rules include no walkers, a required average pace of 15 minutes per mile or faster to meet the 2 hour 30 minute cutoff, no headphones including bone conducting devices, and no dogs or wheeled devices.
