Event Overview
The Rainbow Run is a community event hosted by the Black Hills Center for Equality at Memorial Park in Rapid City. This event focuses on visibility and support for the local community through a colorful outdoor activity. Participants can choose between two different distances:

Course Details and Experience
The event takes place at Memorial Park, located at 444 Mt. Rushmore Road. During the activity, volunteers are positioned at various points along the route to throw colored chalk at participants as they pass. This interactive element is designed to be a messy and bright experience, and those attending are encouraged to wear their brightest clothing. The event is open to individuals who wish to run for a personal time or those who prefer to walk the course with friends and family.
Registration Information
Registration is available for both distances with the option to include a commemorative shirt. Shirts are produced via pre-order only and must be reserved by the September 12 deadline. No shirts will be available for purchase or distribution on the day of the event. All proceeds from the event support the Black Hills Center for Equality's mission to provide advocacy and services within the region.
