bg26.2 & half marathon and bg6000 : Bowling Green, KY
The event takes place October 31 to November 1, 2026 at Bowling Green Ballpark in Bowling Green, Kentucky. It includes a marathon, half marathon, a 6k called the bg6000, virtual options, a pushrim marathon category, and a kids fun run.
The course is a USATF certified Boston Marathon qualifying route. It begins and ends at Bowling Green Ballpark and follows a 13.1 mile loop through historic downtown Bowling Green and the campus of Western Kentucky University. Marathon runners complete the loop twice.

Race operations and rules include five checkpoints for marathon runners and two for half marathon runners. There is a six hour time limit. Marathon participants must maintain a 14:00 min/mi pace or reach the halfway point within three hours. If a registered marathoner completes only one loop and crosses the finish line, the result is recorded as DNF.
Packet pickup, the expo, and the pasta dinner are held the day before at Bowling Green Ballpark. The kids fun run consists of two laps around the ballpark concourse for a total of one kilometer; participants receive a finisher medal and pizza. No strollers or dogs are permitted on the course.
