Beyond Glasgow 55km Ultra & 25km Trail Runs
Wild Deer Events presents Beyond Glasgow, a fully supported trail running event that starts and finishes on Glasgow Green and routes runners into the countryside around Glasgow. The next scheduled race is 8 May 2027 and the event is organised by Wild Deer Events.
Distances available:
- 55 km Ultra combining riverside paths, woodland, trails and open countryside.
- 25 km Trail Run on scenic trails and countryside before returning to Glasgow Green.
Both routes are fully signed and supported with marshals and feed stations. The 55 km route has three well-stocked feed stations and the 25 km route has one well-stocked feed station. Live chip timing is provided by Timing Up North. There will be a cut-off to safeguard participants and the event team; details will be confirmed closer to the race.
Runners are expected to carry basic compulsory kit, including a running backpack or vest, water or fluids, a charged mobile phone with emergency contacts saved, some food or gels, a lightweight jacket, and the Race Director's contact number saved.
All finishers receive an event medal, Beyond merchandise, and a snack and drink on completion. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
