Better2gether Halloween Hustle 5K & Kids Run
The Better2gether Halloween Hustle 5K & Kids Run takes place on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at Deep Run Park in Richmond. The event offers a chip-timed 5K on a certified course and a separate kids event for participants 12 and under.

Entry options include in-person runners and walkers, a virtual run/walk, and a kids run. Listed base prices are $30 for runners, walkers, and the virtual option, and $20 for the kids run; prices increase after September 2, 2026. Walk-up registration rates are higher and packet pick-up is available the Friday before the event at Fleet Feet Short Pump as well as on race day at Deep Run Park. Registrants who register by October 8 are eligible to receive a participant t-shirt in their chosen size.
The event features a race festival with a costume parade and contest, themed finisher prizes, top finisher awards, a petting zoo, face painting, games, food trucks, and Kona Ice. Proceeds support children with rare and chronic medical conditions and Better2gether RVA’s work with the Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU to assist families of children with medically complex illnesses.
