Bergen City Marathon 2027
Bergen City Marathon (Fjordkraft Bergen City Marathon) is scheduled for Saturday 24 April 2027 and will be the 16th edition of the event. The start and finish take place at Bryggen. The course runs through several characteristic areas of Bergen, including Gamle Bergen, the viewpoint along Fjellveien, the promenade around Store Lungegårdsvann, the streets of Nordnes and past Nordnesparken before returning to Bryggen.
The event offers multiple race options and age categories for competition. Race categories include marathon, half marathon, relay, a 5 km city race and a kids race. Class divisions are specified for marathon, half marathon and 5 km by age groups; relay teams are separated into women's, men's and mixed teams. A separate class covers children aged 0 to 12 years for the kids race.
The organisers list a course map for 2026 and provide information on group trainings and organised travel with BCM for 2026. Ambassadors are named for 2026.
