Bergen City Marathon 2027
Bergen City Marathon takes place Saturday 24 April 2027 and is the 15th edition of the event. The start and finish are located at Bryggen. The route passes through several central and recognisable parts of Bergen, including Gamle Bergen, the viewpoint along Fjellveien, the promenade around Store Lungegårdsvann, the streets of Nordnes and past Nordnesparken before returning to Bryggen.

- 42 km Marathon
- 21 km Half marathon
- Relay
- 5 km
- 1.5 km Kids race
Class divisions are organised by age. Marathon classes include 18–19 years (junior), 20–22 years (U23), 23–34, 35–39, 40–44 and then 5-year classes as long as there are participants. Half marathon classes start from 16–17 years as the youngest, then follow similar age groupings. The 5 km race includes youth classes beginning at 10–11 years. The relay competition has separate categories for women only teams, men only teams and mixed teams where both genders must be represented. The children’s race lists 0–12 years as the participation category.
